Mandatory ROTC Is A Must!
Early in the morning, a marching song was played by mixed voices. Every command must be heard clearly and loudly. Both order and discipline are being exercised. These were the experiences you would encounter during your time in ROTC. Let me first explain what ROTC is. The Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) is one of three elements that make up the National Service Training Program, which is a civic education and defense preparedness program for college students in the Philippines. ROTC aims to mobilize students for national defense preparedness by providing military education and training. Its specific goals include preparing students for service in the Philippine Armed Forces in the event of an emergency. ROTC, or the Reserve Officer Training Corps, is a program that develops skills and provides militaristic knowledge.

The trend on social media is to debate whether youth should be required to join ROTC. Although many people favor the aforementioned activity, others are unwilling to participate. Those opposed to the ROTC Bill's adoption are raising their concerns. They make an effort to persuade other young people to reject the bill. Their major objective is to highlight certain problems involving abuse in the ROTC. Youths who support ROTC are also speaking out, and they are working to address hazing-related issues.

The government shows exceptional care for the well-being of the nation. Platforms and agendas are carefully examined to see if they may benefit our nation. The passing of the ROTC Bill is one of them. Some nations mandate that all of their citizens serve in the military. Everyone must go through the stated service, regardless of fame or popularity. In our nation, just the ROTC program is compulsory. The primary priority is educating the next generation about militarism and discipline. Another way to get a physically fit and healthy body is via ROTC. The purpose of the aforementioned bill is to hone discipline and camaraderie.

The primary mission of ROTC is to develop young men and women into leaders, both in the military and civilian sectors. By providing military training and education to college students, ROTC instills discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence, which are essential qualities for success in any profession. Additionally, ROTC graduates are highly sought after by civilian employers due to their leadership skills and training. From a national perspective, ROTC helps to develop a pool of highly skilled and dedicated officers who are committed to serving their country.

Being a supporter of this bill, I encourage every youth to do the same. We now have a professional approach to this program, which only ensures that discipline is developed in every youth. We need to be ready to protect our country. It is better to have the mindset of war to prepare us for those who are violent and abusive to take down our country. The PNPA or Iskolar para bayan supports this bill.
